Thanks so much for visiting. The Sigil Masters series consist of my first novels. Before that, I wrote short stories that have appeared in Tales From the Old Black Ambulance, Adventures in Zoopkeeping, the Zoetic Press Literary Journal, the Providence Journal, and both the Pike's Peak Writers and the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers creative anthologies. In one sense, my writing spans the genres: fantasy, scifi, horror, and plain weird. But while the plots and settings vary, it's all connected: I write to discover new worlds and wander from the familiar. I use no generative AI in my writing.
I was born in new Jersey, and grew up on the boundary of street-lit suburb and shadowed forest reading second-hand fantasy and science fiction novels often out of order. I received a B.S. in computer information systems with an emphasis in Artificial Intelligence and a minor in theology (I wanted a minor in psychology, but the university didn't offer that, and theology sort of rhymed.) Most of my career was spent in software engineering. I also received an MBA, mainly out of curiosity for how the world oils its wheels.
Today I live in beautiful Colorado, never far from a biking trail or a cup of tea, and try to make time everyday to explore.
I hope you'll connect with me wherever my CONTACT page suggests, I don't have any immediate plans to continue The Sigil Masters with a BOOK 4, but if you've read BOOK 3, you know as well as I that life has a way of surprising us.
